Usually I spend much of my time at the sewing machine on Oscar Weekend.  This year I knitted ~50 inches of mohair lace instead.  I should be done with the Airy Wrap-Around on Wednesday.  I ran out of the soft blue yarn (like I thought I would), but luckily I had enough to finish a particular section.  I really like the substitution.

On the other crafty side, I can show you a preview of the seedling starter (aka the original solar collector) I made last weekend.  My friend Sarah gave me one for Christmas, and so far I started cilantro and the lemon basil is coming up now.  I planted parsley and thyme  in these: 

The thyme is already up after 7 days!  I planed some rosemary in an old bubble bath bottle yesterday.
